Meet the MEMBERS OF THE Board.
Èbùn Oguntola is a junior, enrolled within the Harvard-Berklee Joint Studies Program, studying Statistics and Mathematics at Harvard College and Film & Media Scoring at Berklee College of Music. She is a composer, conductor, producer, and multi-instrumentalist. At the age of 14, Èbùn was commissioned by GRAMMY-winning violinist, Johnny Gandelsman, to compose Reflections for solo violin, which was performed at Carnegie Music Hall, The Met Museum, and The Wallis. The work was featured in The New York Times, and included within the album This Is America: An Anthology 2020–2021, which reached No. 2 on Billboard’s Traditional Classical Chart and was highlighted by NPR in their article, “Favorite Music of July,” alongside albums by Beyoncé and Maggie Rogers.
She was also featured on NPR’s From the Top, where she was interviewed by Kevin Olusola from the three-time GRAMMY Award–winning group Pentatonix. Her songwriting has been recognized by GRAMMY-nominated songwriter Tayla Parx, co-writer of Ariana Grande’s “thank u, next,” who selected Èbùn’s song from thousands of Berklee students for a private masterclass.
As the current president of HUEMC, Èbùn oversees artist programming, strategic partnerships, and the continued expansion of Harvard’s music scene, bringing a multidisciplinary perspective to leadership, committed to expanding creative access and building platforms that elevate emerging artists.
